about

Described by Billboard Magazine as a "Rising star" and by TheNext2Shine music blog as a young musical prodigy with "a voice that exceeds any realm of expectation," Tamir discovered his own unique talent and deeply-rooted passion at an early age.

Studying the arts in Tel Aviv inspired Tamir to begin creating and performing his own music, eventually leading him to form his own eight-piece band and eagerly begin to learn the creative process of writing, composing, arranging, and producing original music. Possessing an old soul and outstandingly distinctive raspy voice, Tamir was naturally drawn to Funk, Blues, and Jazz to find his musical inspiration, marrying his youthful energy with an authentic, vintage sound. The result of this fusion is music that appeals to a diverse audience of any age or generation, with songs such as "Tell Me Where the Light Goes" and "Under the Water" showcasing his passionate vocal delivery on stage while also exploring his unique songwriting ability that can be described simply as “timeless.”

Since he released his first recordings at only seventeen years old, Tamir grew a global fanbase, leading to many concerts and tours in Europe and the US. He performed at events such as the BA City Beats Festival, Kaunas Jazz Festival, and shared stages with artists like Gregory Porter, John Newman, and Jamie Cullum. He also played numerous concerts in his hometown and throughout Israel, including appearances at The Red Sea Jazz Festival, The TLV Piano Festival, and more.

After two intense years of touring in Europe and Israel, Tamir recorded his debut EP – Inwaters. The EP was released on October 20th, 2017, through Steel Wool Records and distributed by Kobalt. It garnered attention and was exclusively streamed by Billboard Magazine.

Tamir relocated to the US after signing with Steel Wool Management (Anderson .Paak, Hayley Kiyoko). He teamed up with Live Nation for a touring development deal and APA as his agency. He released a four-track EP that reflected his time in Los Angeles, collaborating with producers, engineers, and musicians like Sam Barsh, Tom Kahr, and Cassidy Turbin.

In 2019, Tamir moved to New York to work on his first studio album. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he returned to Israel and utilized that time to work on his music. Eventually, he participated in Israel’s most prestigious music contest – The Next Star. After nearly a decade of declining the offer, he joined and won the competition with unanimous support from judges and viewers.

Following his victory, Grinberg embarked on an extensive nationwide tour across Israel, selling out his first show in under an hour. He performed in all the major amphitheaters and cultural venues, including three sold-out shows at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium (7,500 attendees total) and two special performances at the Tel Aviv Opera House.

In 2022, Grinberg opened for Maroon 5 in front of 60,000 fans at Park Hayarkon, Tel Aviv. He also collaborated with top brands like Mercedes, Armani, and Adidas, and major tech companies including Microsoft, AmDocs, and Mobileye. He performed at national ceremonies and charity events, including ALS fundraisers, Hadassah and Ichilov hospitals, and at the Israeli President’s House and Knesset.

In March of that year, he was selected as one of Forbes International’s 30 Under 30. He appeared on magazine covers and in news features, and performed his song "Tell Me Where the Light Goes" at the International Maccabiah event, viewed by a global audience of 30,000.

Grinberg continued appearing on TV, including The Next Star 2022 finale and Dancing with the Stars semifinals, where he performed his hit single "Better". In September 2022, he celebrated a year of achievements with a massive concert at Live Park Rishon LeZion in front of 10,000 fans, performing original arrangements with a 12-piece band.

In 2023, his international presence grew. He performed at a gala in NYC's Morgan Library honoring Lorraine Schwartz and at the Saban Theater in LA for Israel's Independence Day. That June, he returned to the iconic Caesarea Amphitheater, performing for 4,000 fans.

His summer tour concluded with a special show alongside the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, arranged by conductor Yaron Gottfried. These performances highlighted Tamir's musical versatility and compositional skills.

Tamir has collaborated with Israeli icons such as David Broza, Idan Raichel, Zvika Pik, and Keren Peles. In December 2022, he performed alongside international DJ Ofer Nissim for 8,000 spectators in a special holiday event broadcast worldwide.

He continues to support charitable causes, contributing an original song to the Holocaust remembrance project Zikaron Basalon and becoming an ambassador for Make-A-Wish Israel.

Between 2022–2024, Tamir released multiple hit singles including “Better”, “Into The Night”, “Changes” (which topped the charts),“Roses”, “Until the End”, “U Should Be Here”, and “Pass U By”, which gained significant radio and streaming success. His music continues to resonate with a diverse audience worldwide.

In February 2025, Tamir Grinberg released his new album A Knight’s Tale, featuring 18 original songs that he wrote, composed, and produced himself. He launched the album tour with a major concert at Expo Tel Aviv, performing to thousands of fans. This coming June, he will return to the historic and breathtaking Caesarea Amphitheater for the second time, joined by internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Eden Golan, who rose to fame after winning The Next Star for Eurovision and representing Israel in 2024.  Afterwards, he will embark on an extensive international tour with his new album.

Titled one of the most revolutionary and intriguing artists of his generation, Tamir Grinberg burst into the Israeli music and quickly became a household name. With his raw, raspy voice, overflowing charisma, and bold stage presence, he has redefined what it means to be a performer. Grinberg delivers a live show on a world-class level — stylish, commanding, and emotionally charged — performing his original songs with arrangements he created himself. His collaborations with Israel’s top musical talents and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and his ability to craft hits that instantly feel like part of our cultural soundtrack, solidify his place as one of the most unique and respected voices in the Israeli music industry today.
